Patrick Brydon
First Year at BOSS: 2021
Current Position: Admissions
Hometown: Whippany, New Jersey
I came to BOSS because:
There was something telling me I needed to get outside. I needed a challenge. As a life-long learner, I knew that BOSS offered to teach the skills I needed – the hands-on skills of primitive living and the life skills to better navigate my 30’s. A decade later, I can say my BOSS course (and my instructors) helped shape me into the person I am today.
I work at BOSS because:
I want to share BOSS with the world. To share deep level of connection that is fostered on a BOSS course and help others re-acquaint themselves with nature.
About Patrick Brydon:
Before I found the great outdoors, I started my post college life as a Certified Financial Planner. But for the past 15+ years I’ve worked in outdoor education, mostly as a scuba diving instructor in places like Mexico, Hawaii, Florida, and The British Virgin Islands. When I’m not in the water, I enjoy running long distances – mostly because it allows me to eat as much pizza as I want. I’m also the father of a beautiful baby girl (and future BOSS instructor).
