Toula Papadopoulos
First Year at BOSS: 2022
Current Position: Instructor
Hometown: Burlington, MA
I came to BOSS because:
After working in the outdoors and conservation for years, I was looking to deepen my relationship with nature to one that relinquished control and included myself as a natural element within my surroundings.
I teach at BOSS because:
I believe facilitating an environment where others can explore their relationship to the natural world and each other not only continues to grow and challenge me, but helps spread lasting ripples in how we interact with our world as a species.
About Toula Papadopoulos:
Raised in the greater Boston area of Massachusetts , I first came to Utah in 2015 when I joined a conservation corps. While I was originally set to return home in 3 months, the desert captivated me and I’ve found myself still based out of southwest Utah to this day. I currently take seasonal wildlife positions which sometimes carry me back to the east coast; however, I return to Utah in the spring/summers to study Gila monsters and teach at BOSS. I am also a wildlife and landscape artist and musician during my free time. BOSS combines my passions for teaching, the outdoors, creativity, and shared growth through challenges.
