BOSS Field Courses have been our signature survival training trips since 1968:
These courses offer hands-on instruction within the context of a challenging wilderness expedition. You will travel through the high mountains and deep canyons surrounding Boulder, Utah while you undergo survival training and learn traditional living skills. Each course is designed to challenge you and teach you what you need to know to thrive in the wilderness. You will rely on those skills for the duration of your course.

Our survival training field courses are designed to be minimalist in nature: no tents, sleeping bags, stoves, or backpacks, and definitely no watches or cellphones. They are designed to challenge you physically and mentally. We expect a lot from our students and our instructors alike.
