The BOSS "Versacloth"

This is our preferred low-tech alternative to a waistpack, called the BOSS Versacloth (okay, we made that name up...). This 5' by 5' piece of cotton muslin can be wrapped around your waist to hold your personal belongings comfortably and securely. You'll find that this simple piece of cloth has a million other uses on the trail.
